Yes, pre-menopause CAN just make you sweat more and simultaneously make your sweat stinkier and also smell like the sweat of a completely different person and/or like urine because there can be so much ammonia in it. And also make your sense of smell more acute at the same time.

Isn't that lovely? And apart from hormone replacement therapy, your options are: wash more, antiperspirant more, or try not to sweat (see also: Mindfulness and Yoga). (I don't think yoga in general seems ideally suited to reduce sweating, but I can't say I'm surprised to see it in the recommended list. Does a woman need to calm down? Why not try yoga!)

Eu tentaria matar quem me recomendasse algo do tipo. Pilates não soa melhor? Além de relaxar ativa os músculos, talvez se o corpo quer suar tanto vamos ajudar ele então ao menos malhando a mente e o corpo no processo não é mesmo?

Eu ainda estou muito longe da menopausa, então não tenho muito conhecimento de causa para falar sobre isso. Mas pelas pessoas que conheci, muitas disseram que aumentar as atividades físicas fez melhor do que ficar só relaxando e tentando evitar as ondas de calor. Por isso pensei no Pilates

Minha mãe outro dia estava comentando sobre isso. Uma conhecia que tomava chá de amora e ficava parada, sempre se sentindo mal. O tal chá não adiantava. Até que ela entrou no jiu-jitsu brasileiro e se sentiu melhor. Os exercícios de aquecimento e o treinamento em si fizeram milagres para ela. A moça até indicou que minha mãe fizesse ao menos os exercícios de aquecimento pois eles ajudam a relaxar o corpo, ganhar resistência e melhorar tudo que é necessário. Por isso na hora eu pensei em Pilates porque ele foca muito mais no exercício para manter o corpo são assim como os exercícios se aquecimento do jiu-jitsu brasileiro.

If you do the slow form of hathayoga that I learned, it's slow movement and holding positions, not rapid movement and sweating. I don't do it all the time; I do tai chi nearly as much -- but neither involves sweating unless you're in an overheated space to start with.
